The Middle East is in turmoil. But then, it always has been.

It’s been a reality every day of our lives. Every time we turn on the news, every time we read the paper, every time we open our web browser, we don’t have to look far to find a troubling story about relations in the Middle East.

While there is often warring and infighting among the Arab nations, one conflict in particular stands unquestionably above the rest. It is a struggle that has confounded American presidents, U.N. leaders, and world courts. It is the 4000 year-old conflict between two peoples: the Arabs and the Jews.

The End of the Beginning is a film that documents the Arab/Jewish conflict – from a Biblical perspective. Why is that important? Well, to put it simply, it’s important because it tells the story of our world today. Moreover, it’s the story of where it’s all leading. The Hebrew Bible, although written thousands of years ago, reads as fresh today on this conflict as tomorrow’s newspaper. All the answers are right there. Our film puts these texts into a framework that makes it easier for people today to understand.

Consider these questions:

How is it that a tiny sliver of land at the east end of the Mediterranean- smaller than the state of New Jersey- continues to lead world headlines on a regular basis?

How could two peoples harbor such animosity and hatred toward one another over a period of 4000 years?

Why is a single city the focal point of the three most influential faiths of all time?

Why is it that since 1948 every American President, many leaders throughout Europe, and the United Nations have attempted  to bring peace to the region, yet none have been able to do so?

Take a moment. Honestly consider them. Then ask, is it possible those can all be random chance? Or could it be, perhaps, because God Himself declared it would happen?


Many people quickly dismiss such a question. They argue,“Oh come on, those people have been fighting for years. It’s no different than other civil wars that have occurred all over the world.” 

This attempted explanation is not only naive, but historically and factually inaccurate. Here’s why:

No other conflict in human history has spanned a period of so many years and across so many nations.

No other conflict human history has been so accurately predicted or recorded.

Only one race of people in human history has been conquered, expelled, assimilated into dozens of other nations, maintained a cultural and national identity over thousands of years, returned to their ancestral homeland, and reestablished sovereignty.

No other piece of land has been as coveted or fought over as much as the modern-day nation of Israel.

The list could go on and on. It is not simply stubborn, angry people at the root of the conflict. God Himself has set these events in motion, and these same events and struggles will continue to shape our world until His return.

At what point do you not put two and two together and realize, “There may be something more to all this?”
The End of the Beginning will not only answer all the aforementioned questions, but will also explain the ultimate conclusion of this great conflict. The events in Middle East will ultimately affect every living person on the planet. It is crucial to not only understand what caused this conflict, but also where it is all leading.

The End of the Beginning is an open and honest look into the greatest story ever told: the story of salvation, from the tents of Abraham, to the final battle of human history called Armageddon. The Bible claims Armageddon will be fought over the possession of the city of Jerusalem, an event in which God Himself will intervene. 

Take a moment to consider these claims. Because if it is true, you won’t want to land on the wrong side when it ends.
